Hi, it’s Marcus Flowers, Democratic
Army Veteran running to unseat Marjorie Taylor Greene.
While speaking at an event last
week, my opponent was asked about Obergefell v. Hodges, the 2015 Supreme Court decision that legalized marriage
equality in all 50 states.
Marjorie Taylor Greene also voted against codifying
interracial marriage into law.
Look,
I’m in an interracial marriage, so this is personal. Check out my
video on this topic, and please consider pitching in $20 or more to
help me DEFEAT MTG in November.

overturn same-sex marriage rights Sent on October 13, 2022, at 3:05 p.m.
Marjorie Taylor Greene told
supporters at a fundraising event that the path to ending marriage
equality in the U.S. is through the Supreme Court because of “the
balance on the Supreme Court as it stands right now.”
While speaking at an event last
week, Greene was asked about Obergefell v. Hodges, the 2015 Supreme
Court decision that legalized marriage equality in all 50
states.
She said, "Now we
know that the Bible tells us marriage is a covenant between a man and
a woman. That’s what marriage is.” She continued: “I think we have a
better chance on the Supreme Court right now like we had with the
Dobbs case and with Roe v. Wade getting overturned.”
Marjorie Taylor Greene has
also voted against codifying interracial marriage into law in the
past.
