I can’t sleep, friend.

Every day I read headlines predicting a “red wave” coming in November. I'm worried, and I can already see the momentum shifting in this race.

With fewer than four weeks until Election Day, RealClearPolitics updated our race rating to a “Toss-Up,” and the National Republican Congressional Committee could sign another massive check to benefit my opponent at any moment.

In a race this close, we need to be ready for any “October surprise” national Republicans have planned for us. That’s why we need to raise $25,000 for our Rapid Response Fund – will you rush $25 by midnight tonight?

Our toss-up race could swing either way. If we’re caught off guard, all of our work to keep IL-06 will be in jeopardy, and there won't be time to get back on track.
