Critical NPH Priority Bills passed into law, such as AB 1486 (public lands for public good), AB 1487 (Bay Area regional housing solutions), AB 1482 (tenant protections), SB 329 (end section 8 housing discrimination), and SB 330 (ensure local governments maintain consistent rules and regulations). Led by NPH's advocacy team, the "3Ps" (Production, Preservation, and tenant Protections) legislative campaign coalition saw 10 of their bills passed into law! Some of these bills will expand opportunities for Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), protect renters, and streamline housing developments that offer affordable units. Learn more about the "3Ps." -
NPH welcomed its second Bay Area Housing Internship Program (BAHIP) cohort. The BAHIP program represents a part of NPH's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the affordable housing industry. Learn more about BAHIP. -
