Dear
John,
I’ve never been more proud of the work Pacific Justice Institute is doing all over the country to advance religious freedom. This year has been full of incredible stories, battles, and victories—none of which would have been possible without your support.

PJI is making a real difference advancing religious freedom like never before! It is the busiest time in PJI’s history. Our caseload has nearly quadrupled, and we are dramatically expanding. As God provides, we are working to open new offices in the Midwest and East Coast to answer more pleas for help. As you know, our mission is to help every person who needs our assistance.

Here are some highlights of the people we have been able to help in 2019 with your partnership:
* Freedom of Religious Speech for our Pastors and Evangelists: PJI fought and won cases in Washington and Texas. We defended two pastors from false charges that attempted to limit their freedom to share the Gospel in public. We are also currently fighting similar cases in Florida, Oregon, and California.
* Freedom of Christian Education: PJI has been battling in federal court, state court, and in a state administrative process on behalf of a Christian boarding school. The school was shockingly raided by the State of California and now faces hefty fines and an uncertain future for merely adhering to Biblical values. This November PJI won a critical court victory rejecting the State’s attempt to force this school to close.
* Freedom for our Churches: In 2019, PJI won a major victory on behalf of five churches and a radio station near Green Bay, Wisconsin. In that case, we defeated a city ordinance that sought to control how churches conduct their ministries and manage church employees. We are fighting cases for two other churches in Oregon and California.
* The Sanctity of Life: In 2019, we put the finishing touches on our huge double victory at the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of pro-life pregnancy clinics and professionals from all walks of life. We also won two criminal cases in Washington, where our client was criminally charged for sharing the Gospel outside of a Planned Parenthood.
* Voice for the Voiceless: In 2019, PJI has stood up boldly to fight for numerous people who have no voice. We have fought for widows and business owners to host Bible studies. We have fought for parents and teachers who need a voice to stand up to education boards. We have fought for students who need a voice to play a Christmas carol at their school. We have fought for persecuted Christians in foreign countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, and China.

A significant amount of PJI’s annual support comes in December. This year, a generous partner has pledged a matching grant of $100,000. Right now, every gift you give to PJI will be doubled by this matching grant.

That means, when you become a new donor, become a monthly donor, or increase your monthly giving, those funds will be doubled. Your $100 gift becomes $200, your $500 gift becomes $1,000, and so on. There has never been a better time to make an impact on religious freedom! Please make your gift today.
