You may have received oversized political mailers from some candidates
recently. Some candidates have even sent out multiple mailers.

Most mailers are written and designed by political consultants which is
why they all look and read the same. It's the cookie-cutter approach.
·     Staged photos

·     Buzz words that are politispeak. Candidate has a "plan" to
fix something, but never tells you what the plan is or how they will
implement it.

Some candidates mail out tens of thousands of mailers (you throw away)
at a time. It is not uncommon for a single mailer program that is sent
out to cost more than a 2022 Kia Forte FE.

The candidates who send out multiple mailings, you could buy a Tesla.

This quote is from a social media post I saw.

"The money spent on city council seats has gotten out of hand. People
should not be raising 100s of thousands of dollars to be a member of the
city council. It has priced out good qualified candidates."

I wrote a series of emails on why we need campaign finance reform,
especially for city council races. You can find the series on my website
under newsletters on my home page.

Folks, we have real problems that require real solutions that must be
solved right now. We can't afford to elect another cookie-cutter
politico whose platform is written by political consultants. 

Not one penny you generously donate to my campaign pays for a political
consultant. You deserve to know me, a real person, which is why I write
my own emails, social media posts, and the content on my website. I am
fiscally responsible, and I don't send you oversized mailers that
waste money and our precious resources.

Your vote for me assures you are electing a real person and not a
political consultant's cookie-cutter candidate. I am your neighbor,
volunteer for your organizations, and assist with your business growth.

sure that District 6 knows what is at stake in this election. We can
finally elect a community-focused, integrity-driven, and fiscally
responsible Councilwoman.
