John, we have a critical update on the race in CT-02, and we wanted our top supporters to see it first.

First: Washington Republicans and Connecticut Republicans announced they were “fully targeting” Joe.

Then: Dark-money GOP groups increased how much money they’re spending in Connecticut on attack ads, bringing the grand total to $3.2 million.

Now: GOP Rep. Lloyd Smucker, who voted against certifying Joe Biden’s election on Jan. 6 and who wants to hold hostage the Full Faith and Credit of the US as a lever to gut Social Security and Medicare benefits, is coming to Connecticut tomorrow to campaign for Joe’s right-wing opponent, Mike France.

John, we know that National Republicans are trying desperately to take back the House, undo all of the progress Democrats have made, and push through their anti-Social Security agenda. And it couldn’t be more clear that they see electing Mike France as their way to do it.

We know that when Lloyd Smucker takes the stage tomorrow, there will be vicious attacks and misinformation that we need to rebut.
