Hey John,
When was the last time you saw Michelle Steel actually face an opponent in an open forum?
Yeah, we couldn’t give you a date either…
Despite repeated requests from local community organizers to attend forums and debates alongside her opponent Jay Chen, Steel and her staff have been radio silent and blown off constituents.
Truth be told, we aren’t surprised. While running for office, Michelle Steel has never participated in a debate, and during her two years in office, she’s neglected to hold even one in-person town hall. Voters deserve better.
We deserve an explanation as to why she’s voting against our interests, like lowering gas prices and health care costs, protecting reproductive freedom, and gun safety. Instead, she’s spent the campaign hiding behind vile, red-baiting attacks on a U.S. veteran.
Jay Chen’s ready to show up for our community – even when the questions are tough. If you’re ready for real representation in CA-45, chip in $3 or more to oust Steel and send Jay to Congress.
