John,
I know that asking for money is hard. To some folks, $5 is a lot, especially right now.
Growing up in a single-parent household in North Charleston, South Carolina, money was tight. My mom worked 16-hour days to keep food on the table and a roof over our heads. I got my first job, changing oil at a gas station when I was 13.
I understand the value of a dollar, and what it can do.
It’s not easy to ask for money, and I don’t take doing so lightly. I know that every donation made is a sacrifice and I am forever grateful for each and every gift.
With that being said, it would mean so much to me if you could chip in $5, $10, or whatever you can to make sure we beat our goal. |
Thank you so much. I know that chipping in any amount can be hard - but if I meet my goal, I can continue this fight for folks like you.
