This week, we delve into the latest migration trends in the region – as the Biden administration announced plans for a humanitarian parole program for some Venezuelan protection-seeking migrants while at the same time confirming it will continue to expel hundreds to Mexico under the Title 42 order.

• 📝 🇲🇽 WOLA joined over 10 U.S. and Mexican civil society organizations in an open letter ahead of the U.S.-Mexico High-Level Security Dialogue on October 13, 2022. In the letter, the organizations share observations and recommendations on improving public security and protecting human rights in line with the most promising commitments of the U.S.-Mexico Bicentennial Framework.
