According to the UN World Food Programme, having food at school not only improves physical health, but also increases educational achievement and provides an incentive for children to consistently go to school. Rodnica, a student at the Tarasse School in Haiti, is able to have two meals a day. One at home and one at school, provided by Rise Against Hunger. The Tarasse School is under construction, adding an additional floor to be able to house more students. More students means the need for more meals and also better futures for the children of Gonaives, Haiti. For Rodnica, the Rise Against Hunger meals have represented hope for her future, as she dreams of becoming a nurse one day. Help UnBox Hope for more students like her today.
