But first, we'd like to promote N Street Village's Annual Shero Walk happening this Saturday, October 15th at 8:30am. This fundraising event that our Diversity & Inclusion Director Nav Sandhu has helped coordinate helps N Street Village provide care and support to women experiencing homelessness in Washington, D.C. Next up, make sure to buy your tickets for Arlington Dems Golden Gala, an elegant gathering and the fourth and final fundraising event of the 2022 campaign cycle happening Saturday, October 15th at 7pm! Special guests include former statewide candidate for Attorney General, Jay Jones and Virginia House of Delegates Leader Don Scott.

Finally, we'll be joining Democratic Asian Americans of Virginia (DAAV) and South Asians for America (SAFA) for their AAPI Canvass Launch for Jennifer Wexton on Sunday, with notable speakers Del. AYD Canvass: Wexton AAPI Canvass Launch by DAAV & SAFA

Join AYD as we head to Loudoun County for the Wexton AAPI Canvass Launch by Democratic Asian Americans of Virginia (DAAV) and South Asians for America (SAFA) on Sunday, October 16th!

Speakers will include Del. Suhas Subramanyam, Del. Irene Shin, and Del. Kathy Tran.
We will meet up in Arlington at noon to carpool to Loudoun County for the 1pm canvass. Meet-up location will be sent up after sign-up.

Please be prepared to walk around for a while (think: athletic clothing, tennis shoes, sunglasses, baseball cap/visor), and keep an eye on the forecast. We recommend while canvassing that you wear sunscreen, bring water and snacks, and come with a fully charged phone as we will be using a mobile app to canvass.

AYD + VAYD Phone Bank

Join AYD for a phone bank with VAYD Thursday, October 20th from 6-7:30pm! With election day getting closer, we need all hands on deck to help Democratic candidates get elected up and down the ballot.

We'll have a brief tutorial at the beginning for people who are phone banking for the first time and then we'll get started around 6:20pm. More details and mobilize link to come!
