NYS Board of Elections Data for NY-24 shows the number of registered Democrats is growing, while the number of registered Republicans (Katko’s base) is withering.
John Katko was one of the first to be named to the DCCC’s “2020 Retirement Watchlist,” and he is at the top of the list of national Republicans' most vulnerable incumbents.
In the 2020 presidential election year, NY-24 turnout will favor Democrats. Only one other Republican is running for re-election in a district that Trump lost in 2016.
Dana is ready to be the advocate we need fighting for Medicare-for-all, bold solutions to the climate crisis, common-sense gun safety laws, and getting big money out of politics. If we stand with Dana right now, we can send John Katko into retirement.
We’ve got to close the 403 donation gap to our end-of-year goal so we can organize now to flip this seat in 2020.
