Hi Friend,

Our EnviroVoters Ambassadors program is starting strong in its second year, and we are beyond excited to present the newest cohort!

These 10 climate organizers are working together to build power to effect change on key issues like clean air, clean water, and climate resiliency. These emerging community leaders, spanning the Central Valley and Inland Empire, are focused on racial justice, equity, and a green and just economic recovery.

The EnviroVoters Ed Fund Ambassadors Program identifies, cultivates, and supports young leaders from marginalized communities in the Central Valley and Inland Empire. We help them foster organizing and leadership skills, activate young people on environmental and climate action, and increase community engagement through long-term organizing within their region.

A long-term, sustainable climate movement requires supporting new organizers like our ambassadors. These young climate champions will live to witness the worsening effects of the climate crisis. And, being from historically neglected communities, the ambassadors will play a special role in ensuring that solutions are equitable, democratic, and effective.

In our first year of the program, our ambassadors built out a constituency of young BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) advocates to lay the groundwork for communities living and working in the Central Valley to protect drinking water and groundwater from fossil fuel contamination. We can’t wait to show you what this year’s cohort of ambassadors will accomplish!

Programs like these would not be possible without the help of our members, so thank you for your continued support.

Thanks for taking action!
