In the U.S. Senate, Gary is focused on strengthening our middle class by protecting access to quality, affordable health care, preparing our kids for the jobs of tomorrow, and helping small businesses grow.

He's drawn on his business background time and time again to make Washington more transparent and accountable -- which led to efforts in Congress to eliminate wasteful and unnecessary spending.

But he knows Michigan is never a given for Democrats -- in fact, he likes "their Midwestern independent streak." Trump carried the state in 2016, but in 2020 all bets are off.

His opponent -- supported by the GOP establishment -- is out-raising him right now. Gary raised $2.5 million in the third quarter, compared to $3.09 million by his Republican challenger -- we can't let this Senate seat slip away from us.
