President Biden is off to Oregon to campaign with Game Changer candidate Tina Kotek who would be one of the nation’s first out lesbian governors in history! 2. Happy National Coming Out Day!

On Tuesday, we celebrated the 34th anniversary of National Coming Out Day! Spotlight candidate Mary Moriarty spoke with NBC to tell her coming out story for the first time in the media. Mary, who has served as a public defender for over three decades and is now running for Hennepin County attorney in Minnesota, came out on the campaign trail earlier this year! “This was a big, big decision for me. 3. Cloudy With a Chance of…

For years, Game Changer candidate Eric Sorensen helped his local community battle countless storms as their weatherman. In his new ad “Storm,” Eric promises to not only warn them about the storms brewing in Washington, but also have their backs no matter what.

4. “I’m a Chick with Opinions and I’m a Chick with a Record”

Spotlight candidate Celia Israel spoke with Axios this week about why she is the best candidate for Austin Mayor. Celia would be the first Latina mayor of a major U.S. city and would be the first out LGBTQ Mayor of Austin. The entire interview is definitely worth a read, but to get you started, here is sneak peak:

“Am I going to back down when they say to corporations based in Austin, you can't take employees to get abortions in New Mexico? You damn right I’m not going to. As a woman, as a member of the LGBT community, as a Latina, I'll speak up.”
