Most people who receive this email won’t open it, let alone read it. Even fewer will donate. 

We were expecting our digital fundraising to really pick up in September and October, but instead, it’s actually slowed down. That’s worrying for a few reasons:

– Our internal polling doesn’t match up with what you might be seeing in the headlines – this is an extremely close race.
– Our campaign was outspent for most of September, and the spending gap is set to widen in the final days before the election. More voters will hear Republican attacks against me than will hear our message.
– Losing in New Hampshire means losing the Senate majority.

Republicans are picking up steam here in the Granite State, and we’ve got to do more than keep up. We’ve got to outpace them.

I’m hoping I can count on you to defy the odds and be someone who donates. We’ve got a budget gap to fill if we’re going to stand up to the GOP’s attacks and fully implement our plan to win, and I need you to please chip in $3 to help us do it.
