The House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol held its final hearing yesterday. They voted to subpoena former President Trump and presented a sweeping summation of its case, placing him at the center of a calculated, multipart effort to overturn the 2020 election, beginning even before Election Day.

Unsurprisingly, Rand Paul had no comment on the revelations they presented. And it’s obvious why. He’s complicit in the attack on the Capitol -- because he helped spread President Trump’s ‘Big Lie’ that the 2020 election was ‘stolen.’

Rand Paul’s refusal to call out Trump’s traitorous behavior, and his complicity with the January 6th insurrection, disqualify him from serving in the Senate.
