I’m more confident about that each day. My confidence grows when I talk to people here in Alabama. It grows with every win in Washington, where we have tackled issues that move Alabama and our country forward.

Just think about what we’ve been able to accomplish this year. I’ve worked hard in the Senate to bring people together and get things done, and the results are clear – just in the last few weeks, we’ve made federal funding permanent for Historically Black Colleges and Universities, simplified FAFSA, secured paid family leave for federal employees, and ended the Widow’s Tax. We’ve helped millions of Americans – and we’re just getting started.

When you compare that to what my opponents are trying to do, there’s no contest. Every one of them has fallen into the trap of putting their own ambition and Mitch McConnell’s extreme interests ahead of the hard-working people of Alabama.
