Happy New Year & (belated) Merry Christmas!

A Belated Merry Christmas and an early Happy New Year!
- Did you miss Governor Ricketts' Christmas proclamation? You can get it here ([link removed]) . Can you believe this simple nod to our shared heritage has the radical, anti-Christmas socialists in the Democrat Party like Kara Eastman and Megan Hunt fired up? Hard to believe, but it is true ([link removed]) ! Thank you, Governor Ricketts, for standing up for Christmas in Nebraska!

- Senator Ben Sasse received an appointment to the United States Senate Committee on Finance, a committee that helps oversee international trade, among other things. Widely acknowledged as one of the more influential committees, it is also tasked with oversight and reform of federal entitlement programs including Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Read more about the appointment here ([link removed]) .

- Do you remember that awesome feeling when you learned that, against all odds, Donald Trump was going to be our next President? Pretty awesome, right? Help us recreate that magic and get involved today.

- The NEGOP announced Central Committee meetings on January 11 in Fremont and February 8 in La Vista. The State Convention will be on June 6 in Kearney, NE! Watch your in boxes and the NEGOP's social media channels for more information.

- From everyone at the NEGOP: Happy New Year! 2020 is going to be the best year yet.
