Today is a big day, team: We’re starting the final push to reach our year-end goal!

It’s all hands on deck to make sure we get our finances on track before this year ends, because after we close the books on 2019, we’ll have to publicly report our fundraising numbers to the FEC.

That means all of the work we’ve put into the year -- every dollar we’ve raised and where we’ve landed heading into 2020 -- will be on display for anyone to see (including Claudia Tenney and her DC funders!).

This is a defining moment for our campaign. If we don’t end the year strong, we won’t be able to take on Tenney and the dark money that’s pouring into Upstate New York. So, I’m asking: Will you pitch in whatever you can afford today to support our campaign? >>

I won’t lie, this has been a tough year -- tougher than I was expecting. First, former representative and our 2018 opponent Claudia Tenney jumped into the race for a rematch. She immediately caught the attention of DC special interests who spent big last year trying to keep NY-22 in their pockets.

Then, the attacks started pouring into our district.

I knew that after we won, dark money groups would try to make me a one-term congressman, but I couldn’t have predicted they’d start so early. Or that they’d spend more than $10 million before 2020. Or that operatives like Steve Bannon would be calling me out by name.

So, reaching our public fundraising goal is more important than ever. We’re gearing up for a fight in 2020 that is going to be more expensive than we imagined just a few months ago, and every dollar makes a difference. Please give what you can before our deadline. >>

Let’s do this, team.
