I’ll get right to the point. We’re mere days away from the most critical election year of our lifetimes and if we’re going to defeat Trump and Trump Republicans, now’s the time to step up.
Our country can’t afford another 4 years of Trump … another 4 years of Mitch McConnell’s Republican Senate majority … another 4 years of national policies fueled by white nationalist hate…
We can’t afford another 4 years of the Far Right’s attacks on our democracy … of their aggressive efforts to hijack our federal judiciary … of their war on the American Way and on truth itself.
That’s why PFAW is gearing up for the most intense year of the organization’s nearly 40-year history and I can tell you that PFAW has what it takes to get the job done … but all of the amazing strategies, tactics, and voter mobilization programs that PFAW is planning will fall flat without enough support from PFAW members like you.
We’re in the fight of our lives.
My impression of Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live gets laughs, but there’s nothing funny about what he and his allies are doing to our country.
Trump, his enablers in Congress, and the dangerous, racist, right-wing movement that he’s helped to catalyze threaten our core ideals and the fundamental rights of so many.
That’s why the American Way has never needed a powerful defense as much as right at this very moment. And it’s why your support of People For the American Way has never been more critical.
Your support is the lifeblood of this important organization, whose work is needed now more than ever as our country sits on the precipice of an election loss from which we might not be able to recover.
