I want to start by thanking everyone who participated in this year’s NJDSC Convention - the first in-person NJDSC convention since 2019! It was so inspiring to be around Democrats from across our state who are so motivated and dedicated to furthering Democratic values and fighting with us to move our state and country forward. I’m feeling even more energized about getting to the victory line in our midterm elections and know that if we keep coming together we can continue to make our state a more affordable, equitable, and fair place to live.

With less than a month left until Election Day , it is time to make sure you and your family, friends, and neighbors are all set to vote - whether by mail or in person. You can use the Voter Resources [[link removed]] page on our website to check voter registration status, apply to vote by mail, and track your ballot.
We don’t need to remind you how critical the midterm elections are this November. There's never been a more important time to fight for reproductive rights, a more just and fair economy, and elect Democrats who will stand up against the radical extremism of the GOP.
Our caucuses have been hard at work mobilizing voters across the state but we need your help in order to reach more potential voters and get us to victory. We have several opportunities coming up this month to get involved and phone or text bank right from the comfort of your own home:
Our Choose Choice Phone Bank and Texting [[link removed]] happens every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We contact women in our most vulnerable congressional districts and make it clear where women in New Jersey stand on the right to our own bodies.

Monday was Indigenous People’s Day, and on Wednesday President Biden traveled to Colorado to designate Camp Hale-Continental Divide a national monument. This area has been a home and place of significance for Indigenous peoples like the Ute Tribes, who were forced by the U.S. government to relinquish this area and much of their ancestral homeland in the mid-1800s. The land also includes Ute burial sites that are thousands of years old and other areas of cultural and spiritual significance.
Biden was also joined by Francis “Bud” Lovett and Robert Shoyer, two of the few surviving veterans from the original 10th Mountain Division, the Army’s first and only mountain infantry division, that trained at Camp Hale to help liberate Europe in World War II.
In President Biden’s first year in office alone, he has protected more lands and waters than any American President since John F. Kennedy and invested billions to protect our iconic outdoors, preserve our historical sites, and address the impacts of climate change. I applaud his historic efforts to preserve our outdoor spaces that are sacred to so many people for a wide variety of reasons.
