Today there are more young people on the planet than ever before. At a time when the world is at a 30-year high in violent conflict, and when the risk of a nuclear apocalypse is at its highest level for more than 60 years, investing in ways to empower and equip young people with the mindsets, tools, and resources to promote peace and oppose war is one of the largest, most global and important challenges facing humanity.
Within this context, join us for two online Information Sessions on October 15 to learn about Peace Education and Action for Impact (PEAI), a leadership programme designed to connect and support new generations of peacebuilders. In these sessions, we'll introduce the PEAI program, discuss what participants learn and do, and share ways to get involved.

More about Peace Education and Action for Impact (PEAI)
PEAI is created & led by World BEYOND War. Project planning and implementation for the pilot were carried out in collaboration with the Rotary Action Group for Peace.

The first iteration of PEAI program took place in 2021. This work involved over a year and a half of inter-generational, cross-cultural, and inter-organisational collaborations that helped to connect, educate, mentor, and support youth in 12 countries across four continents.
We asked participants to tell us in their own words what they feel they learned from the PEAI program and its impact on them and others - here’s what some of the youth told us:
In addition to providing an opportunity for young people to learn from, dialogue with, and strategize for change with like-mind young leaders from different parts of the world, the PEAI program also resulted in: 15+ youth-led, community-engaged peace projects; 40+ country coordinators and mentors trained to work alongside and support young people throughout the PEAI process; and 20+ locally-embedded organisations engaged.
Thank you so much to those who generously donated to the PEAI program in 2021. We truly appreciate your commitment to building new generations of young peacebuilders!
What next?
Planning is underway for the next iteration of PEAI, which aims to make PEAI available to diverse youth & communities in 10 countries - but we need your help to make that happen.
By making a donation towards scholarship fees, you will have a direct impact on not only the individual young person you're supporting, but also on their entire community. Young people from many countries - particularly those that have been ravaged by war and conflict - will not be able to afford the $300 registration fee. But the PEAI experience can shift the trajectory of these young people's lives - we've seen it happen in the last iteration and are thrilled for the opportunity to expand on that in this upcoming iteration.
Building a global movement of young peacebuilders with the tools, skills, and networks they need to work toward collective (positive) peace depends on all of our support.
Will you consider making a contribution in support of these young people?

Thank you in advance for your consideration.
Yours in Peace and Solidarity,
Phill
