SUMMARY: 83rd governor of Georgia, 2019 to present. Specializes in suppressing our votes, stripping away our reproductive rights, and blocking Georgians’ access to health care.
VOTER SUPPRESSION EXPERIENCE:
- Signed a draconian voter suppression bill into law.
- Reduced access to ballot drop boxes.
- Purged voters from the rolls.
ANTI-CHOICE EXPERIENCE:
- Campaigned on signing “the toughest” abortion ban in the country.
- Open to banning contraception in Georgia.
ANTI-HEALTH CARE EXPERIENCE:
- Refuses to expand Medicaid in Georgia, preventing struggling hospitals from accessing billions in federal funds and blocking over 500,000 Georgians from accessing affordable health care.
SKILLS: Hypocrisy, ignoring the will of the people, and trampling on Georgians’ rights.
