I just wanted to expand on Jesse’s email yesterday about the power of the grassroots. On the ground, knocking doors and talking to voters on the street, I can feel the excitement. People are tired of the old guard.

They want a representative that fights for all parts of our district and not just the parts that will score them the most big donors. They want better schools, better housing, and better healthcare. The people want change.

You may have heard we have a deadline for the end of the year. We have been blown away by the response of so many stepping up to help reach our goal but we still need to raise another $33,000 before December 31st at midnight.

We need to make sure we can grow our team of hardworking staff, give our volunteers the resources they need to talk to voters, and keep our campaign up and running. Can you chip in $20 to help us reach this goal?
