Hello Friend,

I've seen signs of socialism taking hold here in America. Have you seen them too?

Some people may excuse it as "no big deal" or say, "it can't happen here."

In Venezuela they told us the same and even that "we could never become like Cuba".

Well, we did. As much as I hate to be the bearer of bad news, I need to tell you that it can happen here and it will if you let it. I've experienced it first-hand!

Venezuela used to be a democratic and free country. I came from a middle-class family, and we did well for ourselves.

But then the Socialists were elected into power, and they drove the country into extreme poverty.

Inspired by the ruin of Venezuela, I traveled to America to study economics and became a big advocate for free markets and capitalism.

I founded the Dissent Project, Friend,  to send survivors of socialism to high schools and teach students about this dangerous ideology before colleges brainwash them.

That’s why I set a goal to raise $25,000 this month so that the Dissident Project can speak at schools across the country. Can you send a gift of $10, $35, $50, or any amount? Click here to donate>>>

One thing I see in America that reminds me of Venezuela is inflation. Hyperinflation destroyed the economy in Venezuela.

I remember one day when I wanted to see a movie. I couldn't fit enough cash in my pocket just to pay for a ticket.

Then there were power outages across the country. You never knew when they were going to hit or for how long. One time, my grandmother and I got stuck in the elevator for hours.

These are just a couple of the experiences I’ve had with the horrors of socialism. And with your support, I can share these experiences with high school students across the country.

Thankfully, supporting a Dissident Project speaker doesn’t take a backpack full of money.

Friend, can you send a generous gift today? Even a donation of $10, $35, or even $50 makes a big difference. Click here to support the Dissident Project >>>

We’ve already reached 2,000 students with the first talks for our Dissident Project.

I shared my experience of fleeing Venezuela's socialist regime and the importance of preserving the liberties we enjoy in the United States.

Afterward, students lined up to take photos, and teachers gave me the opportunity to speak to their smaller classrooms as well.

I even met a student from Venezuela with a similar story which sparked a much-needed conversation about the value of freedom among their classmates.

The Dissident Project reminds students that socialism isn’t a thing of the past — I lived through it.

We have 25 additional talks and counting scheduled for this school year alone. Your support helps us provide these talks at no cost to schools.
