The Humanitarian Awards are presented to those who have significantly helped to further our mission of building healthy relationships, families and communities free from sexual, domestic and interpersonal violence.

Robert K. Ross, M.D., is President and Chief Executive Officer for The California Endowment, a private, statewide health foundation established in 1996 to address the health needs of Californians. Since 2000, Dr. Ross has provided leadership in supporting the vision of underserved communities and grassroots leaders for a healthier California and a healthier America. He has prioritized healthcare accessibility, diversity, youth empowerment and education, equity and inclusion, and health and wellness - among other issues impacting the communities in California. Dr. Ross and the Endowment have supported POV and our mission, specifically funding our Children and Youth Center and our youth violence prevention programming. Dr. Ross is a true leader for our State and we are so pleased to honor him. Join us for this special evening!
