Remember last February, when a group of Republican state Attorneys General went to court to challenge the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act? Well, a federal appeals court just handed down their ruling -- and they ruled against protecting our healthcare.

While this decision will have no immediate impact on your healthcare or your health insurance, the Republican-led states that brought forth the lawsuit got exactly what they wanted: to force a ruling on the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act as a whole. And if they get their way, it would result in the elimination of protections for pre-existing conditions, coverage for maternity care, and coverage for the cost of prescription drugs, and it would cause health insurance premiums to skyrocket for millions of Americans.

In 2020, we need to seize every single opportunity to remind the American people that Republicans are the party that wants to take away our care. Will you help me drive that message home in the new year?
