Will You Help Animals by Making a Plan to Vote?

Dear John,

The election is just around the corner, and your vote can be incredibly important for animals!

Your legislators at the federal, state, and local levels make crucial policy decisions about everything from improving welfare standards for farm animals to protecting endangered species to prohibiting the use of exotic animals in circuses. They have the power to dramatically move the needle on how animals are treated. That is why it is vital to establish a plan to vote so you can be ready when it's time to cast your ballot.

Here are some easy steps and resources:
* To learn about your options for voting, go here ([link removed]) and click on your state.
* If you plan to vote in person, find your polling place ([link removed]).
* Even if you plan to vote in person, either during early voting or on Election Day (Tuesday, November 8), you can request a mail-in ballot ([link removed]) as a backup in case you are unable to make it to the polls.
* If you would like to receive reminders about election deadlines, sign up here ([link removed]).
Lastly, we encourage you to reach out to three friends and family members to make sure they have the information they need to successfully cast their ballot.

Thank you for taking the time to help animals by making sure you are ready to make your voice heard on Election Day.

Sincerely,

Susan Millward
Executive Director
