For some people, COVID-19 infection is short-lived. After a few days or a week of feeling under the weather, they will generally feel ready to resume daily activities. Yet many others will experience long-term effects that linger for months (or years) after their infection. This is known as post-COVID conditions (PCC) or more commonly, long COVID.
