This is HUGE, team: the January 6th Committee has just unanimously voted to subpoena Donald Trump. And it’s about damn time.

We need accountability for Trump and everyone else involved in the attempt to overturn the 2020 election and instigate the insurrection on January 6th. And this is an important step in that direction.

I know firsthand how the extreme far-right can come after members of Congress for standing up to Trump, and I applaud my colleagues for taking a bold stance on the side of truth.
