The gauntlet has been thrown in the Johnson household!
 
Here’s the deal, John: Hank’s wife Mereda has challenged Hank to a competition — whoever can pull in the most contributions to Hank’s campaign by the mid-month deadline will have bragging rights over the other.
 
As campaign manager and a neutral third party, I’m sending this first email to explain the contest (frankly, I don’t care who gets credit for the contributions, as long as we can keep funding our get-out-the-vote efforts through November 8th). Then Hank and Mereda will each get a chance to make their case before our mid-month deadline of 11:59pm on Saturday, October 15th. The person with the most contributions by then will win!
 
So if you want Hank to win, click on Hank’s button below, and your donation will be counted toward his total number of contributions. If you want Mereda to win, click on Mereda’s button, and your contribution will go toward her total.
