John,
This past weekend, I had an amazing time celebrating Atlanta Pride. As a public servant, this isn't just a parade — it's a promise to keep showing up and fighting for Georgia’s LGBTQ+ community. That’s my commitment as your next Attorney General.
I cannot overstate the importance of saying what you believe and having leaders who are proud to stand up as allies of the LGBTQ+ community here in the Peach State and fight for all Georgians’ rights — regardless of whom they love. On Sunday, we marched. In November, we vote.
Make no mistake: LGBTQ+ rights are on the ballot this year. The Supreme Court is not done rolling back hard-fought progress, and Justice Clarence Thomas directly stated in his Dobbs concurrence that he wants the court to revisit same-sex marriage. So we need advocates at the state level who are prepared to fight on behalf of vulnerable communities.
My opponent Chris Carr has refused to state his position on marriage equality. He's pledged to "continue defending the state's constitution" — which is concerning, because Georgia's constitution since 2004 has prohibited same-sex marriage.
Carr can't bring himself to say it, so I will: as the people's lawyer, I'll always stand up for LGBTQ+ Georgians and do everything in my power to protect them.
We have just 26 days left to replace Chris Carr with a leader who will actually commit to protecting fundamental rights. John, will you chip in $10 (or any amount) to help us continue to make our case to Georgians?

Thank you,

Democratic State Senator Jen Jordan (pronounced Jer-Dun) has spent her legal career fighting for Georgians. Because of her real-life experience in the courtroom and out of it, Jen knows that now, more than ever, we need an Attorney General who will take a stand and fight for the rights of each and every Georgian.
