Friend --

If we're going to take back the Senate in 2020, it won't be enough to hold strong in Minnesota. Democrats also need to flip four seats to guarantee the majority. One of those seats is in Maine, where Sara Gideon is challenging Republican Senator Susan Collins.

The good news is: Sara outraised Collins in the last quarter -- placing her in a strong financial position to pick up this Senate seat.

The bad news is: Collins has millions of dollars at her disposal, and she can count on Mitch McConnell's network of super PACs and special interest groups to add more to the pot whenever she's running low on resources.

Look, this isn't the only Senate race where Republicans have an obscene cash advantage, but it could prove to be a decisive one in a close race like the one we're seeing in Maine. So, I'm asking:

Will you split a contribution of $10 or more between Sara Gideon's campaign in Maine and ours to help us take back the Senate and get Washington working for the people? I wouldn't ask if it wasn't absolutely important.

One of our best shots at flipping a Senate seat in 2020 is in Maine, and it's critical we do so. That's why your donation is so important today.

Thank you.
