Ballots are officially out, so we’re working around the clock getting Will’s message to voters. But today, we wanted to hit pause and shed light on one of our recent discoveries from the archives about Ken Calvert. It’s an old
Fox News segment that exposes Calvert for using his office to enrich himself courtesy of local taxpayers.
In Fox’s
Porked: Earmarks for Profit, investigators share the story of a concerned citizen who had gotten a whiff of transportation projects that Calvert earmarked that drove up the value of the property he had just purchased
three months prior!
You know things are bad when even
Fox News is exposing your corruption. Calvert fought hard for this earmark, knowing full well its value was about to skyrocket. And right after the project was initiated, Calvert quickly turned around and sold the property for $500,000 profit!
This is a pattern with Calvert. In fact, since assuming office, Calvert increased his net worth by up to $20 MILLION. That's earned him the title of one of the “most corrupt members of Congress.”

We know Calvert’s track record of self-interested politics. On the other hand, Will Rollins is a former federal prosecutor who is championing a
total ban on stock trading by Members of Congress.
