John, I really hate sending emails like this. But there are just days left until our final mid-month fundraising deadline of the entire campaign, and we are in very real danger of falling short of our goal.

We are polling only 2 points behind Todd Young, and with over 15% of Hoosiers still undecided, there is a lot of room for us to take the lead. However, we need to stay competitive with Todd Young and his $7 million in special interest funds.

Senate control is on the line, and reaching our fundraising goal is essential to winning. 

We launched our first TV spots this week, and now the main objective is to keep them there. We need to make sure that every Hoosier, regardless of party affiliation or previous voting record knows the name Tom McDermott. 

John, we don’t need to tell you that TV ads are expensive. We don’t have special interests flooding our campaign with money like our opponent does. That’s why I am reaching out to you today. Is there is any way that you can spare another $100, $50, $25, or $10 to our campaign to defeat Todd Young?

Republicans know Todd Young is in trouble. That’s why he’s been running ads non-stop since our first poll dropped.
