Josh, born and raised in a working-class neighborhood in Endicott, NY, understands the true meaning of working-class. In a pursuit of public service, Josh became a Staff Assistant in Congressman Maurice Hinchey’s office, where he learned the importance of constituent service in the day-to-day lives of everyday folks. He later served as a policy analyst at the U.S Department of Labor, focusing on strengthening communities who lost jobs through no fault of their own.
The four generations that came before him have molded Josh into understanding the needs of working-class families. He’s seen first hand families struggling to access healthcare, have a roof over their head, and retire with dignity – even if they’ve played by the rules.
