PIH establishes Paul E. Farmer Scholarship Fund to support medical students

Launched by a transformative gift by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the fund will support University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) students by covering the costs of tuition, room, board, and expenses of all 3,000 medical students and global health delivery master’s degree candidates over the next 25 years.

How 87,000 people in Malawi were vaccinated against cholera

Abwenzi Pa Za Umoyo (APZU), Partners In Health’s sister organization in Malawi, is partnering with the country’s Ministry of Health to deploy an extensive cholera vaccine campaign after outbreaks earlier this year in Neno District.
