Wanna hear something funny? Yesterday I needed to quickly find out if folks would be interested in an election night party at the Gaylord. I posted on Facebook, and then was in a hurry so I quickly copied and pasted it into an email... without any changes. BIG MISTAKE! Um... we have 1000s on our email list, and I closed the email with, "Please respond yes or no." Guess whose email inbox exploded??? Wow! Thank you all for paying attention. I'm not complaining!
What I learned is that you are definitely interested in a party! So I confirmed with Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, and she's booked it and generously invited us all. We're even looking at booking live music, and Bobby Lindamood may jump in for a few songs!

We put the location in the subject of every event email so that you can easily delete without opening it, but you know what is a better idea? Forward the email to those you know in that area! We send all event emails to all subscribers because so many True Texans do just that... share the invites! We hope you will too, but if not, kindly just delete. No need to send in a complaint or unsubscribe. There truly is a method to our madness as we work hard to build the army across this great big state!
