John, you can tell a lot about a politician's values by where their money is coming from.
Here's one of the biggest differences in this election between Lee Zeldin and me: He has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars from corporate PACs (and from groups like the NRA), while I'm refusing their help. I'm proud of my choice. It means our campaign will be more honest, more transparent, and more accountable to regular people than to corporate interests.
But the fact is, refusing corporate PAC money means that we're relying even more on supporters like you -- especially right now, before we hit our end-of-quarter deadline.
We're still $8,800 away from our goal, and falling short would mean trimming the sails of our critical early voter outreach.
If you can donate any amount right now, it will make a big difference: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/ng-eoy-2019
Thanks so much,
Nancy
