EVERGREEN: New Hampshire is deeply purple. Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight called New Hampshire “one of the swingiest electorates in the country,” and this top battleground state is one of the most likely to flip in 2022.

* In 2016, Maggie Hassan won by the slimmest margin of any sitting Senator. 
* In 2020, Joe Biden won this state by a single-digit margin -- but New Hampshire Republicans flipped both chambers of the state legislature and reelected a Republican governor.


Why it matters: With 26 days until Election Day, we're running out of time to make the investments needed to win in a race this competitive.

BACKING BOLDUC: Extremists are lining up behind Don. Don Bolduc is the most extreme nominee for U.S. Senate that New Hampshire has seen in decades, so it only makes sense that his allies are a true who’s who of Republican extremists. 

* His supporters include:
* Donald Trump
* Mike Pence 
* Steve Bannon
* Matt Gaetz
* Newt Gingrich
* Michael Flynn
* Ted Cruz


Why it matters: all these extremists are laser-focused on flipping this seat because they know that doing so would virtually guarantee GOP control of the Senate. But we can’t let them win – their dangerous agenda is wrong for New Hampshire and this country.

FUNDRAISING: The Hassan campaign badly needs the resources to make its case. Fundraising has slowed significantly as we enter the final weeks of the campaign. 

* September was unprecedentedly slow for Team Hassan’s fundraising. Which is leading to shortfalls in initial projections and making significant budget cuts.
* Outside Republican groups are dumping millions of dollars into drowning out Team Hassan on the airwaves. 


Why it matters: Hassan MUST make the case directly to voters about the threat Bolduc poses to their fundamental rights — and that takes organizing and advertising. An infusion from donors is critical to protecting this must-win seat for Democrats.
