A.G. Holder couldn't have put it better, John:

"'It's easy to be frustrated when we hear election after election that 'this is the most important election of our lifetime.' But the truth is democracy is always one election away from significant and long-lasting changes, for better or for worse." PITCH IN TO HELP THE NDRC DEFEND OUR DEMOCRACY> [link removed]

The outcome of this November’s elections will have big repercussions for the next presidential election and for our democracy as a whole. Whether pro-democracy candidates win in states across the country this year could determine whether election results are even certified in 2024.

All over the country, pro-MAGA election deniers are running for positions with authority over our elections. Some of them have even said they wouldn’t have certified the results in 2020, and according to The Atlantic, it would only take six states to overturn a presidential election.

That’s why it’s critical that we do everything we can to fight back. And as A.G. Holder said, that means we have to do democracy. It isn’t enough to just vote — we all need to do our part by supporting candidates who are committed to protecting voting rights and ensuring our democracy survives for future generations.

To that end, the NDRC has endorsed more than 400 Democracy Defenders who are running for key offices in target states all over the country. From state legislators and governors to secretaries of state and state supreme court justices, we must make sure the officials who win this November will do everything they can to protect our democracy.

But time is running out before Election Day, and we need your help to make sure we’ve done all we can. Will you answer A.G. Holder’s call to protect our democracy by doing democracy and pitch in anything you can today to support our efforts?
