Before the year runs out, join PPIC in our mission to improve public policy in California by providing nonpartisan, fact-based research.
For the past 25 years, all of our work has pointed in one direction: building a brighter future for California. In the last year alone, we've:
- Convened leaders and created online tools to encourage planning and participation in Census 2020, a high-stakes event for California.
- Highlighted poverty rates across the state, quantifying the realities of the working poor and providing online resources to identify regional differences.
- Explored promising approaches to addressing key water challenges in the San Joaquin Valley, including ensuring safe drinking water and sustaining the farm economy.
- Provided an in-depth look at public opinion on leading issues of the day, including the environment, health care, housing, and immigration.
Going forward, we are very excited about our stronger, more intentional focus on opportunity in California. We are committed to exploring effective, efficient, and equitable public policies that improve well-being across our state.
