With another January 6th committee hearing taking place today, let me be very clear:
There are few sitting U.S. Senators who are a bigger threat to our democracy than Ron Johnson.
Ron Johnson is complicit in the violence that took place at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th. He contributed to the distrust, the conspiracy theories and the unrest that led to the attack.
While the House committee is seeking to hold accountable those who had a role in the insurrection, it's not just up to the committee. It's also up to us.
Every single one of us has an obligation to hold Ron Johnson accountable by defeating him this November and electing Mandela Barnes for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin.
Our democracy is on the ballot in 2022, which is why I am urgently asking you today:

Just last week, Ron Johnson claimed that calling what happened on January 6th an armed insurrection was "not accurate."
We all saw the violent mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol. We saw the horrific attempts to overturn the 2020 election results and undermine our democracy.
But here's the good news:
In November, we have the chance to hold Ron Johnson accountable. And that means electing Mandela Barnes to replace him in the U.S. Senate.
That's why I am asking you again:
Ron Johnson is among the worst offenders when it comes to the prolific spread of misinformation and threats to the future of our democracy.
