BE THE CHANGE
Dear John,

As Flora’s 11th birthday approached, all she could think about was the planet and what her future would hold. So instead of asking for birthday gifts, Flora requested that her friends and family donate to Fresh Energy ([link removed]) . If you’re like me, you think about kids asking for a phone or a video game. But not Flora and not this year.

All around the world, kids are telling us what they want, loud and clear: a safe, bright future, with clean air and a healthy climate.

Here in Minnesota, young people are walking out of school and marching for climate—demanding that we take action at the scale of the problem. And don’t we owe it to them to give it our best shot?

* Making 100% clean energy a reality for Minnesota by working at the Minnesota State Capitol with a broad network of partners to secure state laws that increase investments in renewables and efficiency.
* Shaping a powerful clean energy market that leaves no one behind and inspires people to live, work, and do business in Minnesota.
* Playing a leadership role in workforce diversity initiatives at the state level and securing multiple options for Minnesota businesses to embrace renewables and efficiency to improve their bottom line.
