We are the state's premier candidate training program for Democratic women and non-binary leaders leaders who want to run for office - and WIN. We have trained more than 420 women and non-binary leaders since 2006. Today, over 100 Emerge New Mexico alums serve in public offices up and down the state and this year, 37 of our sisters and siblings are running for elected office.
We've been working to change the face of power for the last 16 years because we believe leaders must reflect the communities they serve and stand up to fight for a more just and equitable world.
