Friend – I just got the best news of our campaign so far: After months of trailing my Trump-endorsed opponent, new polling shows us in a statistical tie.

But our celebrations were short-lived. 

After polling tightened to a tie, two right-wing super PACs – including Mitch McConnell's – blindsided us with millions of dollars in new ads attacking me. On top of that, Ted Cruz and Donald Trump descended on Nevada to rally for my extremist, election-denying opponent, Adam Laxalt (R).

I cannot afford to be outspent and drowned out right now when I'm so close to pulling ahead in the polls – not with Senate control coming down to this race. So I must make an urgent ask of you: Please, will you give $5 or more right now to fight back against GOP attacks, protect this seat and keep the Senate blue?

I hope you can understand why I'm acting with such urgency, friend. In the wake of these unrelenting attacks from national Republicans, CNN is calling me the most vulnerable Democrat on the ballot. Experts agree that our race is the GOP's best opportunity to flip a seat red. 

If that happens – if we lose this seat – Democrats are all but sure to lose the Senate.

I am not backing down, but winning is going to take raising another $30,000, every dollar of it from grassroots supporters like you, by tonight’s 11:59 p.m. fundraising deadline. Please, will you rush $5 or whatever you can spare to fight back against these GOP attacks, win in Nevada and protect our Democratic Senate majority?
