Last week, my team released a new TV ad. In it, I pledge to help you fight back against the “storm” bearing down on us. From prescription drug costs to the assault on reproductive rights, we’re facing urgent problems that need to be tackled in Washington. My new ad makes it crystal clear that I’m the only candidate in this race committed to addressing our biggest challenges while putting the interests of the people of IL-17 first.

This probably won’t shock you but it’s expensive to keep ads on the air, and we need to make our final cash wire to local TV stations before tomorrow at 5:00pm if we want to keep it live for another week. Right now, we’re a bit short of our target goal.

We adjusted our budget to get this ad on the air earlier than we’d planned, because the super PACs spending on behalf of my opponent are driving up the price of TV time. The goal here is to be as efficient as possible with your contributions. 

By tomorrow’s deadline, we’re hoping to bring in another $35,000 to keep our ad on the airwaves. It would mean a lot to me to have your help getting our campaign’s message to voters. After all, there are only 26 days until Election Day. We need to reach people across Northwest Illinois to really get out the vote next month.
