Friend, as 2019 draws to a close, I want to share with you how unbelievably proud I am of all the GLAAD family has accomplished this year -- and I want to thank you personally for being a part of that. We’re facing crucial challenges in 2020, and we need to raise $200,000 by the end of the year to meet them. Will you donate $25 right now to help us hit our goal? Remember, every dollar you give before December 31st will be matched by a generous gift from The Ariadne Getty Foundation. <[link removed]>
When GLAAD sees a status quo where LGBTQ people face bullying, exclusion, or discrimination, we don’t wait for someone else to solve it -- we fix it ourselves.
This year, when we saw that LGBTQ issues were being completely overlooked in the presidential primary, we partnered with One Iowa, The Gazette, and The Advocate to host the first Presidential Forum on LGBTQ issues for the 2020 election cycle. We brought the candidates together on our terms to discuss the issues that affect our lives.
When the Hallmark Channel banned a commercial featuring two women getting married, GLAAD launched a media campaign that got attention all over the country, and in a matter of days, despite intense pressure from anti-LGBTQ groups like One Million Moms, the Hallmark Channel apologized and issued a statement of inclusivity.
From Hollywood to Washington and everywhere in between (and all over the world with new international trainings from the GLAAD Media Institute!), GLAAD gets results. And that will be even more important in 2020, when all of our most important progress -- including marriage equality -- is on the line.
Friend, we need you with us as we gear up for the fight of our lives in 2020, and we have only four days left to hit our end-of-year goal and take advantage of a $200,000 match from The Ariadne Getty Foundation. Will you donate $25 right now to be a part of this fight and ensure that your gift goes twice as far?

Thank you so much for being part of this family -- and for being a person who refuses to accept a status quo where LGBTQ people are fully equal and accepted.
