When a U.S. Senator is elected, they’re given a term of six years. That’s a long time.
So it’s not too much to ask that at least once during those six years, they show up to defend their record and explain to their constituents why they deserve another six-year term.
That’s why I was so surprised when Rand Paul refused to show up for our debate last week. I had to debate against an empty chair.

The people of Kentucky deserve a Senator who wants to represent them -- not someone who rarely shows up in Kentucky and only has one office in the entire Commonwealth.
I’m running to be a Senator who actually represents Kentucky. And I know I can win. But I need your help to make it happen. Please pitch in $20 or more to help me DEFEAT Rand Paul.
